We’ll rave about ravioli all day if you’ll let us! Take a simple scan of our refrigerated foods case, and you’ll see that we’re big fans of the stuff—or, should we say, of the stuffed. These pasta pockets are also quite popular with our customers, which is why we’re introducing a new, available-every-day ravioli to the roster: Trader Joe’s Vegetable Ravioli.
Made for us in Italy, our Vegetable Ravioli begins with tender, toothsome, wheat-based pasta made with egg and spinach, the latter of which enhances the Ravioli’s veggie flavor profile and imbues it with a vibrant green hue. Our supplier—the expert pasta-producers behind many of our other revered Ravioli—generously stuffs these with a flavorful filling of zucchini, mozzarella cheese, breadcrumbs, caramelized onions, roasted onions, and red & yellow peppers. The Ravioli cooks to al dente in 3-4 minutes, making it an absurdly easy option for weeknight dinners-in-a-pinch. Serve it tossed in a bit of olive oil and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese, or pair it with your favorite TJ’s pasta sauce.
