Tea Tree Oil

Tea Tree Oil is an essential oil well known for its refreshing scent that lands on the nose somewhere between eucalyptus and fresh mint. Trader Joe’s Tea Tree Oil uses pure Melaleuca Alternifolia Oil, also known as tea tree oil, native to Australia. The scent alone is tantalizing with its reviving medicinal, woodsy aroma that makes it a pleasant addition to natural home-cleaning sprays, lotions, and hair and face products. The Oil helps eliminate odors, fight bacteria, and has inherent antiseptic qualities that benefit acne prone skin and inflammation. Add a drop or two in a cotton pad with a little bit of water or other oils to dilute the dominant effects of Tea Tree – just a little will go a long way.
