Soft Pretzel Stick

Trader Joe’s Soft Pretzel Stick is shaped kind of like a short baguette. Despite its lack of a twist, it’s unmistakably pretzel-y; with pillowy insides, and that classic, dark- brown exterior, first innovated by 16th century monks who used a pure form of lye to boost the Maillard reaction. Fancy as this may sound, Trader Joe’s Soft Pretzel Stick is really just a yummy, yeasty bun that can be enjoyed in several tasty ways.

Heat up some White Queso Dip, then tear off pieces of the Stick to dunk and enjoy. You could also slice it in half lengthwise, toast it, then spread with Cultured Salted Butter. Or perhaps you’re in the mood for a sandwich, in which case we recommend a healthy spread of Organic Yellow Mustard and several slices of Uncured Pastrami. Of course, you could always just open up the package and take a bite!
