Reserve Meritage Paso Robles 2023 Red Wine (LIMITED)

Our latest vintage of Meritage within the Trader Joe’s Reserve label, made for us by a renowned winery in Paso Robles, contains all six of the classique Bordeaux grapes: Cabernet, Merlot, Petit Verdot, Cab Franc, Carmenere, and Malbec. Together, this carefully curated and beautifully balanced blend expresses itself with boldness, inspired by the traditional Claret versions of Bordeaux reds. In this respect, it presents our customers with a different style than most other Paso Robles wines we’ve offered in recent years.

Big and flavorful, with complex notes of boysenberry, plum, cacao, and café au lait, this TJ’s Reserve Meritage would be just as welcome at the Thanksgiving table as it would be alongside a plate of smash burgers and fries, or even just sipped solo while enjoying a brisk autumn evening. Elevated yet unpretentious, it’s the kind of wine that truly punches above its weight.
