Peach Flavored Glaze (LIMITED)

In these lingering, languid, warm days of late summer and early autumn, we often turn to a standby sweet snack: grilled peaches drizzled with balsamic vinegar. And as we’ve come to associate this iconic flavor pairing with this super specific part of the season, the thought eventually came to us: why not combine these elements into one? Thus, Trader Joe’s Peach Flavored Glaze came into being. Made for us by a supplier in Italy, who uses a base of bright and tangy balsamic vinegar of Modena, this thick, sweet, and phenomenally fruity Glaze is flavored with peach juice concentrate to give it a nice note of stonefruit to go along with its captivatingly complex acidity. 

Available at your neighborhood Trader Joe’s now through the end of October, we recommend drizzling this Peach Flavored Glaze on everything from after-dinner desserts like vanilla ice cream, cheesecake, and rice pudding, to breakfast and brunch staples like cottage cheese, ricotta toast, and oatmeal. It adds a rich, contrasting sweetness when applied to savory proteins like chicken and fish, and makes a charming addition to a charcuterie board or cheese platter. And for a fun and fruity appetizer or salad, we find it’s more than capable of making a uniquely delicious caprese.
