Well, we won’t forget about them, and to help you remember, we make a point of placing huge bins of them in (or sometimes in front of) our stores. You can’t miss ‘em! Nor would you want to, because our classic Orange Pumpkins are the great-size-for-carving variety that you look for when jack-o-lanterns and freshly roasted seeds are on your mind – not too big, not too small. How does one pick a perfect carving pumpkin? It should feel firm and heavy for its size, and it should be free of soft spots. If you’re planning to carve, make sure it sits flat before you start – unless, of course, you want a lopsided jack-o- lantern, with a lot of character.
