Maison Barboulot Chardonnay-Viognier 2024 (LIMITED)

Like its customer favorite Cab-Syrah and Rosé counterparts, Maison Barboulot Chardonnay-Viognier is made from grapes grown in the Pays d’Oc area within the prolific Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern coast of France. Each varietal is gently pressed, then fermented in concrete tanks, slowly and at low temperature to preserve freshness and enhance the aromas. Finally, the two young wines are skillfully blended together (60% Chardonnay and 40% Viognier), and left unoaked so the wine retains a vibrant, fruit-forward profile and crisp finish.

This Chardonnay-Viognier pours bright and pale-gold in the glass, with intense aromas of peach and ripe pear, plus aromatic hints of white flower blossoms and exotic fruits. To complement this full-bodied wine’s velvety texture and acidity on the finish, we recommend imbibing with sliced Saturn Peaches and Bacon Cheddar Cheese, or a Caprese salad with fresh Mozzarella. Like the other Maison Barboulot wines, this Chardonnay-Viognier is also an exceptional value.
