Jalapeño Sauce

Who doesn’t love a good hot sauce! (Notice the lack of question mark…) While we know people have their favorites, we also know that hot sauce lovers are an adventurous bunch, and willing to branch out and try something new. Trader Joe’s Jalapeño Sauce includes a recipe that’s more than 50% jalapeños– this is a sauce that’s hot without being overwhelmingly spicy, smooth and creamy without any dairy (in fact, it’s vegan!). Drizzle it over eggs for breakfast or employ it as a replacement for traditional enchilada sauce in an enchilada bake at dinnertime. Of course, chips are improved with a dip in this salsa (hey, “salsa” is just Spanish for “sauce,” so even though it’s not a salsa, per se, it is technically still a salsa), and its ever-slightly-sweet overtones are delicious with tacos.
