Grown for us in California’s San Joaquin Valley, Trader Joe’s Dry Roasted & Salted Pistachios are produced without the use of a medium like oil or water (hence, dry-roasted.) This gives each Pistachio a delightfully crunchy texture that interplays impeccably with their naturally mild, buttery flavor profile, which in turn is accentuated by the addition of sea salt. They arrive at our stores in the shell, which suits us just fine, since they’re just as fun to crack open as they are to eat.
